BEC's mission is to promote community development through financial education and youth enrichment.

Initiatives

BEC strives to develop a blueprint for economic development through the utilization of knowledge and wisdom to build wealth within our community.

Through perseverance and our resilient nature, we will put self-determination at the forefront of our mission, as our north star, guiding us to become the architects of our success. We will bring the change we seek in our community and define our legacy

DEFINE YOUR LEGACY

Within BEC's programs and mentoring, we focus on key topics that drive meaningful growth and impact. We emphasize youth, literacy, enrichment, budgeting, home, and ownership, ancestry, and generational wealth, integrating them into our mentoring conversations and initiatives. By centering these priorities, we ensure our guidance remains relevant, actionable, and aligned with what matters most to those we serve."

Youth Enrichment

BEC’s Youth Enrichment initiative is carried out through our BEC Youth Program. Our youth program is a mentorship program, geared towards black male youth, where we expose them to the greater outdoors, connect them to work opportunities, and aid them in developing life skills that are vital components of adulthood, necessary for thriving in the world we live in.
